Well i sure hope Sokolov doesn't turn out to be yet another Russian head case/diva. Wouldn't it be something though if one of the last picks in the 2016 draft turns out to be a superstar??? **holding breath**
Stop holding your breath Gump. I hate to say this, but Sokolov is just not getting it. I think it has been preached to him now for about 4 years, about getting into really good shape. And he still hasn't done it. They guy is truly amazing with the puck on his stick, but that is only part of the game. If I were Wild brass, I would be giving this guy 1 year in Iowa to see if he can figure it out. If he can't change his ways, another team will definitely think they can change him, and he might be helpful as trade bait. It sucks that he just can't get this down.
As for Matt Read, isn't he on a 2 way contract? Its bad that he wasn't in top shape for the skate test either. He is supposed to be pushing players on the 4th line.
